About

I'm an associate professor at the computer science department of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and a member of the CITI research lab.

Previously, I led the Dependable Systems Group at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, and was an assistant professor at IST. Before that, I was a PhD student at MIT.

Projects

I am currently pursuing three main projects, funded by an ERC Starting Grant. The main topics covered by these projects are:

Current PhD students

  • Pramod Bhatotia
  • Daniel Charles
  • Pedro Fonseca
  • Cheng Li
  • Nuno Santos

Previous PhD students and post-docs

  • Allen Clement (post-doc, now a tenure-track faculty at MPI-SWS)
  • Ricardo Lopes Pereira (co-advised PhD student, now an assistant professor at IST - Technical University of Lisbon)
  • Alexander Wieder (PhD student at MPI-SWS now advised by Bjoern Brandenburg)

Selected recent papers

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Research Council under the ERC Grant Agreement number 307732.
